James Galloway, along with Becky his wife, are the senior pastors of Bethel City Church. Bethel City Church is an expansive, expressive & progressive church that could best be described as a new breed of church for the next generation committed to making Jesus famous & impacting and breathing life into the great City of Stoke on Trent, England.

James is an insightful and challenging speaker with a passion to build a church that loves people for who they are and inspires them to rise up and be all that they can be in God.

Since taking up position at BCC in September 2007 James has been busy repositioning the house to move it from a certain place to an awesome place. James believes that church should be at the centre of the community, city and area. Exciting initiatives have been started including a social action project called lovestoke which aims to link up volunteers to community projects and trentmoneywise which provides practical financial help and support. The church has seen a huge cultural transformation and has numerically grown to the point of recently breaking the 400 barrier.

James trained at Nottingham Christian Centre and sporadically attended Mattersey Bible College and worked alongside his father, Rae, as the executive pastor at Cardiff Christian Life Centre where he established Destiny City Wide Youth Programme, a dynamic city wide youth programme involving youth events, schools work and after school clubs. James also pioneered Selah Youth Network and spread from South Wales to become a national network of churches committed to doing life together and creating a culture to redefine church for future generations. James was also the regional director of Youth Alive UK and remains a much sought after speaker and communicator.

James and Becky have two children, James supports Stoke City and likes oatcakes a bit too much.
