This most recent City Gathering saw BCC break the 400 barrier for the first time. It was awesome to see it. The visitors in shock that they are enjoying church; the core realising that we are doing more that talking about breaking through; & Jesus easily able to work on so many people at the same time.
It is such a privilege to be apart of such an exciting church.
All of my life I have, mostly, endured church. I always believed church could be that which we are seeing here at BCC. I am now enjoying church and thriving as I watch Jesus transform so many lives.
In the midst of this life changing and God glorifying season I have also discovered the ugly side of church life. The volume of emails and gossip that comes from outside of the BCC community is horrendous.
God is doing a phenomenal thing and jealous, small minded, insecure and vindictive people make slandourous remarks that are SO FAR OFF THE MARK it is unreal.
Nehemiah, when on with a great project refused to listen to these vile comments and so do I. We are on with a great project and we are not coming down!
I look at the fruit of changed lives, healed homes, miraculous conversions and hundreds of people flocking to the house of God full of passion and praise for our King.
For those that waste their words I say ‘Get a life!’
